A private wedding photo app, not a public feed

Most apps that collect guest photos drop every upload straight into a live, public feed that anyone at the wedding can scroll. WeddingLens is built the opposite way. Nothing your guests upload is visible to anyone until you approve it, and the location and camera data hidden inside each photo is removed before the file ever leaves your guest's phone. Two deliberate choices, both on by default, neither a setting you have to remember to switch on.

You approve every photo before it's visible

When a guest uploads, the photo doesn't go live. It lands in a private review queue that only you can see. You decide which images belong in the shared gallery and quietly leave out the blurry frames, the duplicates, and anything you'd rather not relive. Your wedding gallery ends up being the photos you chose, not whatever happened to get uploaded.

Location and camera metadata, stripped before upload

Every photo a phone takes carries hidden EXIF metadata: the GPS coordinates of where it was taken, the camera and phone model, and timestamps. Share those files as-is and you can broadcast the exact location of your venue, your home, or wherever the shot happened, baked invisibly into the image.

WeddingLens removes EXIF location and camera metadata in the guest's own browser, before the photo is uploaded. The sensitive data is cleaned on their device, so it never travels to a server in the first place. You keep the picture and drop the coordinates. No competitor in this space leads with this, and for a private day it matters.

Private from the link to the gallery

Access runs through a QR code or a private link you control, so the only people uploading are the people you invited, and the finished gallery is shared with the people you choose. There is no public profile to stumble onto, no app for guests to install, and no account for them to create. Privacy here isn't a premium tier or a checkbox in settings. It's how the product is built from the first scan to the last photo.
