Privacy Policy
Last updated June 10, 2026
WeddingLens is a product of Aquila Strategies. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Couple accounts: the email address you use to sign in (we use passwordless magic links, so we never store a password).
- Guest uploads: the photos a guest chooses to send and an optional name they may add. We strip embedded location and camera metadata (EXIF) in the browser before the photo is uploaded.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
Uploaded photos are private to the couple by default. They appear publicly only after the couple approves them, and only in that wedding's gallery (viewable by anyone who has the link). We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or use your photos to train AI models.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) in a private storage bucket protected by row-level security. Public galleries are served through short-lived signed links.
Retention & your choices
Couples can delete individual photos or an entire wedding at any time, which removes the associated files. We keep account data while the account is active. To request deletion of a photo or your information, email us and we'll take care of it.
Children
WeddingLens is intended for adults planning and attending weddings and is not directed to children. If photos include minors, please ensure you have the appropriate consent to share them.
